After many months of refining the user experience, the app is finally ready for open beta. I’ve had to make some hard decisions during this time. There are many interesting problems to solve in this space, and I want so much to publish the path finding features. The unfortunate reality of small teams is limited resources. I’ve decided to take my own advice and reduce the quantity of features, so the quality of the published features remains high. As I’ve given demos of the app prototypes over the last year, all those conversations involved new perspective, different potential use cases for the technology. As much as I’d love to dig deep into some of them, I drew a line in the sand and said “these are the 1.0 app features, nothing more, nothing less.”
